The Pilates Suite is a breezy and light private studio overlooking the treetops on beautiful Hope Island on the Gold Coast. The Studio offers state of the art Merrithew ™ Equipment, including V2Max Reformer, Vertical Frame, Stability Chair, Ladder Barrel, Spine Corrector, Arc Barrel and Matwork training led by STOTT PILATES ® FULLY CERTIFIED Instructor, Ingrid Cruse.
Our private studio is a space for encouragement, wellness, healing and transformation. Pilates is resistance training that works from the inside out to strengthen and lengthen all the muscle groups to give you supreme agility, strong posture, energy invigoration and full body tone. Pilates is a transforming, rehabilitative exercise as much as it is preventative and compliments any athletic training.
Ingrid Cruse is the owner of The Pilates Suite and advocates Pilates practice as an intelligent form of strength training that benefits bodies from the inside out.
Bio – Ingrid Cruse
A ballet student from Aged 4 – 15 years, Ingrid went on to study Fitness Leadership after high school. She taught high impact and Step aerobics classes throughout the 90’s.
Ingrid started a journey into Yoga during her own Pregnancy and then went onto study “Iyengar” Yoga. A close friend who had rehabilitated from major spine surgery with Pilates introduced her to Pilates and the love grew from there.
She decided to study the STOTT PILATES method of contemporary Pilates because of its world renowned and respected education system referred to as the “Ivy League” of Pilates Education, coupled with its engineering excellence in Pilates machinery production. STOTT Pilates is Globally recognised for its rigorous training and examination model along with annual continued education credit (CEC) program for instructors to stay abreast of new science. Instructors can take up to 10 years to complete this training due to its course content, review, practice teaching hours and review logs which must be completed in all levels Essential, Intermediate and Advanced.
She loves teaching and particularly enjoys hearing feedback from clients about how great their bodies feel.

· STOTT PILATES Rigorous training programs are respected for their credibility and integrity with each piece of equipment having its own face to face training program at each level, Essential, Intermediate and Advanced.
· STOTT PILATES Certification is ONLY awarded upon successful completion of each course, logged practice hours, observation hours, teaching hours plus a written and practical examination with a minimum 75 % pass mark.
· STOTT PILATES Instructors are required to complete annual continuing education credits to retain their global registration.
· STOTT PILATES Instructors are permitted to audit courses already taken for life as a registered Instructor to ensure all Instructors remain up to date with any changes in either repertoire or scientific foundation.
